Terms and Conditions for IberLoom Language Academy

Welcome to IberLoom Language Academy. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and the services provided by us. By accessing or using our online platform or engaging in our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

1. Services Offered

IberLoom Language Academy offers a range of Spanish language instruction services including, but not limited to:

• One-on-one language tutoring (online and in-person).
• Group conversational classes (online and in-person).
• Corporate language training programs.
• Exam preparation courses (DELE, SIELE).
• Customized learning plans.

2. Registration and Accounts

• Account Creation: To access certain services, you may need to register and create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.
• Account Security: You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for any activities or actions under your account. IberLoom Language Academy cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with these security obligations.
• Eligibility: By using our services, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age or have obtained parental or guardian consent.

3. Payments and Cancellations

• Fees: All fees for services are as listed on our site or as communicated to you. Fees are subject to change, but changes will not affect services already paid for.
• Payment: Payments for services must be made in advance of the service delivery. We accept various payment methods as indicated on our online platform.
• Cancellations and Refunds:
  • One-on-one lessons require at least 24 hours notice for cancellation to receive a full refund or reschedule without penalty. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may result in the forfeiture of the lesson fee.
  • Group classes and corporate training programs have specific cancellation policies which will be communicated at the time of enrollment.
  • Refunds, where applicable, will be processed within a reasonable timeframe according to our internal policies.

4. User Conduct

You agree to use our services responsibly and in a manner that is lawful and not harmful to others. You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any local, state, national, or international law.
• Engage in any activity that interferes with or disrupts the service or the servers and networks connected to the service.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the service or any other accounts, computer systems, or networks connected to the service.
• Harass, abuse, or harm another person or group, including our instructors and staff.

5. Intellectual Property

All content provided on our site and during our services, including but not limited to texts, graphics, logos, images, course materials, and software, is the property of IberLoom Language Academy or its content suppliers and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any part of our content without our prior written consent.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. IberLoom Language Academy does not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, IberLoom Language Academy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the service; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the service; or (c) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless IberLoom Language Academy and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including, without limitation reasonable attorney's fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of our services or your violation of these Terms and Conditions.

9. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms and Conditions at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
